I am with you Rick, Portland is astonishingly unpredictable and incomprehensibly cool. I just had lunch with a friend who has lived here for about 3 years and describes her experiences in Portland as surreal.

believe me...I was tempted. But I was downtown to get things done, and I was on a roll. Plus I was still a bit sore from playing soccer ;)
