The West End Brewery in Manhattan NYC had this on tap before the Zappa plays Zappa gig on Halloween.Wowie zowie fresh from the keg,and brought by young ladies in skimpy costumes......................DD

Re: Lagunitas Kill Ugly Radio

In Redmond, Washington - you can find this at a local Beer/Wine specialty store called Malt and Vine: http://www.maltandvine.com/

I picked up a case of this yesterday, because the first 22 ouncer was so good. Great refreshing hoppiness, lighter 'golden' body, and the high alcohol content is an added bonus!

Re: Lagunitas Kill Ugly Radio

mmmm...if you like this in the bottle, you should try it on tap. Yummy! Oaks Bottom Public House has it on right now---might not last long...I saw two guys at the bar yesterday down three pints a piece and plan to go back today and have more...get it while you can.

Re: Lagunitas Kill Ugly Radio

I'm sure glad I picked this one up at the store. There is no style given on the outside of the bottle, but definitely in the PA/IPA range. Lagunitas is very consistent with brewing and bottling great beers that aren't dumbed down for the consumer. Hmmm, now I'm thirsty and it is after noon...

Re: Lagunitas Kill Ugly Radio

Cool, getting closer. i'm in washington.

Re: Lagunitas Kill Ugly Radio

yeah, I picked it up in Portland, OR.

Re: Lagunitas Kill Ugly Radio

Can you buy this outside of CA??

Re: Lagunitas Kill Ugly Radio

I am actually drinking one of them right now. Bought two of them at my local stupidmarket (Safeway) on Friday and am going to stash away one of them along with the Zappa tribute beer I purcahsed last year. Overall I like the hoppiness--Lagunitas never disappoints in the hoppiness department, and I've always loved Frank Zappa. Cheers to you, Frank!!!

-he who stacks pork

Re: Lagunitas Kill Ugly Radio

Any idea why Zappa? I mean, besides because he's cool. Is there a story behind the beer? Is Dweezil or Moon Unit involved?

Re: Lagunitas Kill Ugly Radio

That is one tasty beer.
