the German bier info here and in the near future are from my trip to Germany earlier this year...just getting around to putting them up. I have photos of most of the beers but couldn't find any of this one.

yeah...I do like the beers. Every now and then I get a little caught up in blahblahblah to get in enough reviews, but I hope to get more done, along with the prerequisite beering.

I'd like to propose that we do a review of all the popular "blue-collar" beers, i.e. Pabst, Oly, etc.

actually, Emma over at Notes did a macro taste-off a few years back...had a bunch of us try and identify macro beers by taste, smell, vomit etc.
i didn't get any right...damn macros all taste the same to me.

that's funny...I'd made some boastful claims not long ago and my brother brought me a blind test with about six macros....kokanee, pbr, coors light, miller somethin-somethin. Got them all wrong as well. I chalk it up to the several Bridgeport IPAs I'd had before that, but it's been haunting me ever since. I'll try again with a clear palate sometime to clear my name, but in the meantime I wear my shame on my sleeve. But who the heck knows what kokanee tastes like anyway?
