I gave one of these to my brother-in-law when he was in town for a visit. He's a confirmed Budweiser guy (sigh). I didn't bother to warn him about the alcohol content.

Needless to say, he loved the beer and asked for another. For the rest of the night, he had trouble talking and walking at the same time. Brilliant.

I have the 1st case of Fred #1 that was sold at the dock in 1997. As the 1st guy in line, I had the brewers (crew) all sign the case. I bought 2 cases at the time. Drank 1. The signed, un-opened case has sat in my closet in my air-conditioned home. I'm now looking to part with the heirloom to a worthy collector.

It also helps to age it for a while. It is very potent fresh, but aged it smooths out, and is easier drinking. Still the alcohol will get you all the same.

Rich and smooth light malts aroma? Just my thing! Will definitely grab a bottle and bring it on the weekend barbecue with the boys. Solid review dude!
