I'd have been amused if I'd been at the next table. So there, unamused cranky lady.

Re: A fine experience

very nice P Stew. Yeah, the enchiladas verdes were not in nearly the same class as the other stuff. And my first time there I was somewhat disappointed too...don't remember what I got, but it was like one piece of meat in a bowl. Not too exciting. If nothing else you should go back and have one of the Hale's. Holy cow.

Re: A fine experience

aw, sh*t. i screwed up.

Re: A fine experience

Dug the margaritas at Taqueria Nueve, but I've got to say, my lady and I didn't enjoy our meal too much. I got this Pescado Ricardo (translation: "Fish Rick") or something like that. It was steamed in parchment paper and was generally bland. Lara got enchiladas with a green sauce and they, too, were fairly bland. The only food item we had that pleased was the guacamole.

Not gonna write this place off, as so many have raved about it, but I think I'll need to order a little more inside the box next time. Tacos. And I think I'll be going on my own, as I doubt I'll be able to convince the lady to come back.

Re: A fine experience

Dug the margaritas at Taqueria Nueve, but I've got to say, my lady and I didn't enjoy our meal too much.
